Challenge Three Winner: Kaleidofin
Challenge Three of the initiative seek to improve transparency and accessibility in financial decision-making, with a special focus on financial education and inclusion.
Kaleidofin, the winner of the challenge from India, developed a groundbreaking, data-driven credit health assessment platform aimed at expanding access to finance for informal sectors such as nano and micro-entrepreneurs, and women-led businesses. Through its proprietary ki score, Kaleidofin leverages AI and machine learning to assess creditworthiness based on alternative data sources, including credit histories and demographics, making it possible to serve data-thin customers. The platform empowers financial institutions to deliver real-time, bulk credit scoring and pre-approvals, enabling faster loan disbursements, enhanced risk management, and more inclusive credit decisions. Complemented by ki view, a risk analytics dashboard that tracks outcomes and forecasts risks, and ki credit, which supports debt capital market structuring, the solution not only improves credit access but also drives financial inclusion.
